You can only send MMS to other greenlandic numbers and not to foreign numbers.

The roaming service “Tusass Abroad” is included in all Tusass mobile subscriptions, which costs DKK 499 per month and upwards, because it has to make business sense for future roaming costs that Tusass will be charged by other foreign operators in the future. The high cost customers previously had to personally pay for using roaming tariffs abroad, are now part of the subscription without adding extra costs to each customer using the service roaming abroad.

You will not be charged for calling “Tusass Abroad” for as long as you are in Greenland or a country that is part of the “Tusass Abroad” zone and calling numbers from Greenland or other countries in that same “Tusass Abroad” zone. Keep in mind that the person you are calling may be charged if he does not have “Tusass Abroad” or is not part of other similar roaming services with other operators.

You will not be charged for making calls when you are in Greenland or a ”Tusass abroad” country and call a Greenlandic phone numbers.

You will not be charged for receiving calls when you are in a ”Tusass abroad” country and you also have a “Tusass abroad” subscription.

When roaming abroad, your telecommunications company must have an agreement on roaming with the individual local telecommunications companies in each country, and although it may surprise someone, roaming on 3G and 4G is individually agreed.

This means that even if roaming has been opened by a foreign telecommunications company, roaming is only possible on the 3G network.

We work hard to expand our agreements so roaming over 4G can be achieved.

Speed varies according to local conditions and local operators, so you should not expect to always get the same data speeds as in Greenland. But as it is right now, there will be a 3G connection.

With Tusass Mobil you will like in Greenland still be able to continue to use data, however, at a much-reduced speed (32 Kbps). You will however receive your normal speed again as soon as you upgrade your subscription. Otherwise, you will have to wait until next month, where you will receive new and unused data to consume.

Calls with extra charges such as competitions, fundraising, specific service etc will not be covered by “Tusass Abroad” and you will be charged extra for such calls or messages. You will also always be charged for calling satellite phones.

You can upgrade to Tusass Abroad while you are abroad. Tusass Abroad applies immediately after you have completed upgrading and received confirmation by SMS.

You can still roam but you will need money on your Tusass account, and payment will be charged at current roaming rates.

Tusass Abroad is an included service for all Tusass subscriptions that cost DKK 499 or more.

Calls, data and texts are included in “Tusass Abroad”.
