What is a children subscription?

It is a subscription that can be used by kids between 5-17 years old. The subscription must be tied to an adult that has an existing Tusass subscription.

How much is a children subscribtion?

The subscription is 89 DKK per month.

What does a children subscription contain?

Now you have the opportunity to choose 2 different mobile subscriptions for your child. Our smaller children's subscription includes free talk, free sms and 1 GB data, and costs 89 kr./month, while the larger subscription includes free talk, free sms, 3GB data and Tusass abroad, and costs 149 kr./month.

Who can sign up for a children subscription?

A grown-up of at least 18 years of age that also has a Tusass subscription can sign up for kids under their own subscription. This also goes for Tusass internet or Tusass business mobile subscriptions.

How can I get children's subscription

You must already have a Tusass subscription – It can also be a Tusass internet subscription or Tusass Business mobile subscription. These will give you access to one or more children subscription.

How can I sign up for a children subscription?

The child must be between 5-17 years old and have a CPR-number as well as a certificate of residency with a Greenlandic zip code.

Why do you need the child’s CPR-number for me to sign up for a children subscription?

We must validate that the child is between 5 and 17 years old and that the child has a Greenlandic address – not least to ensure that there is only one child per subscription. Aside from that we do not use the child’s CPR-number.

How old must my child be to qualify for a children's subscription?

The child must be between 5-17 years old to qualify for a children subscription.

What happens to my child’s children subscription, when the child turns 18?

When the child turns 18, the subscription will automatically be downgraded to a Tusass pay-as-you-go at the end of the month.

How many children subscriptions can I sign up for?

There is no limit for how many children subscriptions you can sign up for. However, a child can only have one children subscription.

I do not have a Tusass subscription. Can I still get a children subscription?

Unfortunately not. Children Subscription needs to be connected to a Tusass subscription, whether it is a Tusass Mobile Subscription, a Tusass internet product or a Tusass business mobile product.

I do not have a subscription other than Tusass Pay-As-You-Go. Can I sign up for a children subscription?

No. A Tusass Pay-As-You-Go is not the same as a Tusass subscription. Children Subscription must be connected to a Tusass subscription, whether it is a Tusass Mobile subscription, a Tusass Internet product or a Tusass Business Mobile product.

I do not have a subscription aside from a Mobile Mikisoq. Can I sign up for a children subscription?

No. It is not possible to connect these subscriptions to a children subscription, as they are not a part of the Tusass universe. The product must be connected to a Tusass subscription, whether it is a Tusass Mobile subscription, a Tusass Internet product or a Tusass Business Mobile product.

My child has a Mobile Mikisoq subscription. When does the switch to a children subscription begin?

The switch will always occur at the end of the month. Your child cannot switch immediately, and you have to request the switch no later than the 20th of the month, if your child should get the subscription at the end of the month. If the request to switch happens after the 20th of the month, the switch will take place at the end of the following month.

What phone number should my child have to get a children subscription?

Your child needs to have either a Tusass Pay-As-You-Go number, a Tusass Private cellphone number or a postpaid cellphone number in the shape of Mobile Mikisoq.

Tusass Business Mobile numbers or postpaid business customer numbers cannot be converted to a children subscription.

My child has a Tusass prepaid number. Can I use the child’s number to sign up for a children Subscription?

Yes, you can switch the prepaid number to a children subscription under your own Tusass subscription.

My child has a Tusass prepaid number. When will the switch to children Subscription take place?

Your child will switch immediately, with relative payment for the remainder of the month.

Can I change my Business Mobile subscription to a children subscription?

No, Tusass Business Mobile numbers or postpaid business customer numbers cannot be converted to children subscription.

I have a Tusass mobile number under my CPR that my child uses, while I myself carry a Tusass Business Mobile. How do I sign up for a children subscription for my child?
  1. First you log in with your child’s mobile number at mit.tusass in Tusass.gl

  2. Go to settings and change the already registered cell phone number to your own Tusass Business Mobile number.

  3. The account will then change from the child’s login cell phone number to your own.

  4. Now as the adult, you can sign up for a children subscription via the link at mit.tusass or on the mobile page at Tusass.gl

My child has a Tusass Mobile subscription with 2GB or more. When will the switch to the children subscription happen?

Your child cannot change right away, and you must change no later than the 20th of the month, for your child’s new subscription to begin at the end of the month. If the switch is requested after the 20th of the month, the switch will not happen until the end of the following month.

My child has a Tusass Mobile subscription of 1GB or entirely without data. When will the switch to the children subscription happen?

Your child switches immediately without further payment, as you have already paid for the rest of the month on your previous subscription. The children subscription costs less than what you have already paid for this month.

Will I get the difference between the old subscription and the children subscription refunded, when I sign up for the subscription?

No. Your previous subscription is prepaid until the end of the month. When you sign up for a children subscription is your responsibility. However, you will only pay 89 DKK at the end of the month for the smaller subscription and 149 DKK for the larger subscription.

Can I pay the children subscription through the Tusass account?

In the same way as with a Tusass Mobile subscription you have the opportunity to pay through your Tusass account. The system will attempt daily to complete payment from your card and then through the Tusass account in accordance with your chosen subscription on of the first days in the following month, if your card was not covered at the end of the month.

Can I upgrade the children subscription to a Tusass subscription?

No, you cannot. The subscription must first be downgraded to a Tusass pay-as-you-go number, before it can be upgraded again to a different subscription. Your child needs to be 18 years old to change the number, if the number should be the child’s responsibility.

When can I cancel the children subscription?

You can cancel the subscription yourself on tusass.gl. The cancellation must be no later than the 20th of the month, for the cancellation to have effect at the end of the month. The subscription will then change to Tusass pay-as-you-go.

Can I add extra data to the children subscription?

If you need more data, data vouchers can be bought at 100 DKK / GB.

What happens, if I do not pay for the children subscription?

If your own subscription is not paid, the connected children subscription will not be paid either. After 5 days the data speed will slow down. If you still have not paid at the end of the month, the subscriptions will automatically downgrade to pay-as-you-go.

I am in debts on my old subscription. Can I sign up for a children subscription?

No, you first must agree to a voluntary settlement with Tusass, where you pay off your debt over a period of time. Contact customer support at 808080 or consult your local Tusass store.
