3 Ways to Check if your device supports eSIM
Ensure your device is compatible with eSIM technology. Most iPhones, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices support eSIM, but it's important to verify this.
Use one of three methods to check if your device is eSIM-compatible:
Before you activate eSIM

Make sure your device supports eSIM.

Make sure you have internet connection via Wi-Fi during setup process.

Ensure you have the latest OS update on your device.
Check for eSIM in settings
Some devices may indicate eSIM capability in the settings.
Apple iPhone
- Go to Settings > Mobile Service and look for the option to Add eSIM. If this option is available, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Android device
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM manager and look for the option to Add eSIM. If this option is available, your device is eSIM-compatible.
Check for eSIM via EID number
If your device has an EID number, it supports eSIM.
Find your EID number
The EID (Embedded Identity Document) is unique to eSIM-enabled devices. To check this:
Apple iPhone
- Go to Settings > General > About, and scroll down to find the EID number.
Android smartphone
- Open Settings > About phone > Status information, and look for the EID number.
You can also dial the code *#06# on your iPhone or Android keypad to display the EID directly on your screen.

Scan QR Code
Use your iPhone’s camera to scan the eSIM QR code.
Alternativily you can enter your eSIM details manually by going to Settings > Mobile Service > Add eSIM. Choose option "Use QR code" and then choose "Enter Details Manually". You can find your manual eSIM informations along with the recieved eSIM QR-code.

Activate eSIM
Follow the on-screen prompts to activate your eSIM. Once activated, your eSIM is ready to use.

Setup eSIM on Android

Alternativily you can enter your eSIM details manually by going to Settings > Connections > Sim manager > Add eSIM. Choose option "Scan QR code" and then choose "Enter activation code". You can find your manual eSIM informations along with the recieved eSIM QR-code.

Frequently Asked Questions
About eSIM
Can I have both a physical SIM and an eSIM on the same device?
Yes, you can use both an eSIM and a physical SIM simultaneously on many smartphones if your device supports it. It therefore allows for multiple subscriptions on the same mobile device.
Can I move my eSIM from one mobile device to another?
As a business customer, you can easily transfer your eSIM number from your current phone to another by following our guide for either iPhone or Android smartphone. Note! It is important that you do not reset your phone before starting this process.
iPhone Guide
1. On device
Go to Settings > Mobile Service > Select your active eSIM under the list of SIM cards you want to remove.
2. Delete eSIM
Scroll to the bottom of the selected eSIM page and tap the "Delete eSIM" button. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
3. Find the email you received from Tusass, which contains your eSIM
You can now install your eSIM on your new mobile device by following the instructions you will find in the email.

1. On device
Go to Settings > Connections > Sim manager > Select your active eSIM under the SIMs list which you would like to remove.
2. Remove eSIM
Tap the "Remove" button on the selected eSIM. Confirm the removal of eSIM when prompted.
3. Find the email you received from Tusass, which contains your eSIM
You can now install your eSIM on your new mobile device by following the instructions you will find in the email.

Note! It is important that you do not format your phone before removing your eSIM number from the device. If you are unable to follow these steps due to a damaged or stolen device, please contact business customer service on 80 80 90 weekdays ml. 9.00-16.00.
